Kayla Samuels, LMSW, is a compassionate and dedicated clinician committed to supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through collaborative and empathetic care. She brings a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and emotional well-being - striving to create a safe and nurturing space for her clients.
Kayla has specialized training in evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), PCIT for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), SPACE training for parents of anxious children, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her expertise allows her to effectively treat a range of anxiety, eating and body image, and trauma-related concerns, helping individuals develop coping strategies and build resilience. She also provides support for those experiencing grief, loss, and significant life transitions, recognizing the profound impact these experiences can have on mental health and daily functioning.
With an integrative and person-centered approach, Kayla tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet each client's unique needs. In her free time Kayla enjoys photography, hiking (as much as one can in NYC!), watching baseball and spending quality time with her friends.
